About the 'Launch Your Local Career' Campaign
The Launch Your Local Career campaign aims to showcase the range of secure and well-paying jobs available to school-leavers in the Rockhampton Region. Recognising some students believe there is a need to relocate to Brisbane to complete further training or obtain well-paid employment, the campaign highlights local career prospects and training opportunities while busting myths around salaries, cost-of-living, training and career prospects in regional areas such as Rockhampton.

- Target Audience: School students (Years 10-12) considering their QCE subjects and subsequent education and career pathways; recent school-leavers considering further education or career pathways; parents and guardians of students and young people fitting the aforementioned categories; schools and education providers wanting to connect students with local employment opportunities
